Our day nursery is registered with the CSSIW (Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales) and all staff undergo DBS checks prior to working with us. We always work to develop skills in first aid and food hygiene, as demonstrated by our 5-star hygiene rating.
About Our Nurseries Close to Penylan At The Playbox, every member of staff is committed to providing the best childcare to all children who are based at one of our nurseries. Established in 1989, we have been working with children between 6 weeks and over 2 years to help them develop through learning and play. Our relaxed day nursery provides your children with a safe space to develop skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. Equal consideration is given to all, regardless of religion, culture, gender, background, or ability.
We have two main nurseries which provide for different age groups. Our location on Brandreth Road caters for 36 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 2 years and our Bronwydd Road base has space for 40 over the age of 2. Open from 8 am until 6 pm, we aim to help with all forms of development including social, emotional and physical.
